If you hit a barrier — a button you can't reach with your keyboard, text that's too small, a form that won't read out loud — call us or send a note. We'll fix it.
Conformance
Built to meet WCAG 2.2, Level AA.
This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That's the standard that Canadian and U.S. accessibility laws point to.
We did not install an accessibility overlay widget — the kind that sits in a corner and claims to make a site compliant. Those tools have been the subject of FTC enforcement and ongoing class-action lawsuits. The real work happens in the code. That's where we did it.

Keyboard reach
Every link, button, and form field works with the Tab key. Press Enter or Space to activate. You don't need a mouse to use the site.

Visible focus
When you tab to a button or link, you'll see a red outline around it. That's intentional — it tells you where you are on the page.

Color contrast
Body text is 4.5:1 against its background. Large headings are 3:1. Both meet the WCAG AA threshold.

Image descriptions
Every photograph on the site has a written description that screen readers can announce. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.

Honest motion
If you've set 'Reduce motion' in your operating system, the site respects that. Photos still appear, but they won't slide or zoom.

Real HTML
Buttons are buttons, links are links, headings are headings. The page structure announces correctly in NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.

Skip to content
The first thing your keyboard reaches on any page is a 'Skip to main content' link, so you don't have to tab through the navigation every time.
Known limitations
What we're still working on.
We test the site with axe-core, manual keyboard runs, and screen-reader spot checks before every deploy. We're not aware of any outstanding WCAG 2.2 AA violations as of 2026-05-14.
